Heeyyy Family!!! Polka dots are always so much!! Especially when they differ in size. I love the illusion this dress is giving me which is why this is one of my favorite looks. Look #12 goes to this Mc Call’s pattern. I made this dress last year for the October 2018 Sew Your View challenge on Instagram……
When I saw this pattern I instantly knew I loved it. The ruching and the high low combination sold me. It is a very straight forward pattern and easy to sew. The ribbon on the left side gives you control of how high or low you want your dress to be. I was feeling a little sexy in this little number…can you tell?? LOL
I’ve had this fabric in my stash for a while. I got it in Los Angeles, California at Michael Levine’s loft. I knew I had to have it, because I had the perfect shoes to match. We know it’s all about the the shoes..right??!!
I will definitely be making this dress again. The one thing I will change is lowering the neckline by 2 inches. I felt like I had to keep adjusting my dress down on the neck and I didn’t like that. Other than that, this is a WINNER!!!
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed this look as much as I did. I can’t wait to see you again.
Much love and many blessings!
