Forty ’til 40 // McCall’s 6844

Hey Family…Look #6 goes to this beauty right here. My baby sister!! Now, as much as I try to be a selfish sewer……I caaannnn’t…lol…..and how could I say no to this face…right??  Nottt!!  lol Just kidding (*insert wink)……

I love to see my little sister out here creating an empire for her family.  When she had a baby 3 years ago that was the defining moment she knew she had to create a legacy for her child. She started her own business The Zurri Collection (her daughter’s namesake) where she sells lavish lashes and bundles of hair.  This journey has not been easy to say the least, but when you are as determined as she is nothing but success must follow!

She wanted to create a look for her business website and guess who she came to!! That’s right, her big sister, and I was so honored to help her vision come to life.

I used McCall’s 6844 to help create the look she wanted.  I extended the skirt portion of the jacket/dress (what I call it) creating a circle skirt. I call it a jacket/dress because it’s a one piece  and closes like a jacket but looks like a dress.

Whatever your dream may be GO FOR IT!!!!  Zig Ziglar said “you don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great”!  I firmly believe in that statement.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed this look as much as I did and I can’t wait to see you again.

Much love and many blessings!
