Hey Family….Happy Saturday!! Can you believe were already on look #5? I know it may not seem like a lot, but to me it’s a HUGE deal. We have to remember to celebrate the small steps just as much as we do the BIG steps….I made this little number about 2 years ago, when I saw my sew sister Anita by Design version of this dress. I knew I just HAD to have it. I had no where to wear it to, but I knew an opportunity would present it self and it did! My mom is the president of Kiwanis Club of Greater Sunrise and they had their annual fundraiser gala which I was invited to last year (2018). When I received that invite I knew EXACTLY what I was going to wear!
The pattern calls to line the dress, but I opted not to line it. This fabric has some weight to it and I felt if I lined it, it would be to heavy.
This dress is simply in the front and has a party in the back. That bow is EVERYTHING!! It spoke to me and I spoke back..lol I love when that happens.
Did I say how much I Love..Love..Love this fabric. It has a shimmer shine to it that when that light hits it, the dress starts talking to everybody.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed this look as much as I did and I can’t wait to see you again.
Much love and many blessings!
Tisa
